Dense Fog Makes Wednesday Morning Commute Dangerous

PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. – Drivers are urged to give themselves extra time and use caution Wednesday morning because of dense fog throughout Passaic County.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the county through 10 a.m. Wednesday. Visibility is one quarter mile or less at times, leading to hazardous driving conditions.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use their low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of them in case a sudden stop is needed.
